A first year medical student chronicling his process through medical school. There will be tears, there will be laughter, and above all there will be a hunter green stethoscope. I hope you enjoy my humble ramblings, and i'll be happy to answer any questions.
I AM NOT A DOCTOR, SIMPLY A STUDENT, WHO CHOSE A FUNKY NAME. ANY ACTUAL ADVICE SHOULD BE ATTAINED FROM A PROPER MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL - NOT SOME GUY ON THE INTERNET!
Sorry for the epic lack of activity, but I’m hard at work revising for my exams, need to be getting those 3As! One bit of news, I got rejected from Keele, which was weird because I thought it was a safe bet! Turns out it wasn’t :’) ah well, I got a med school so that’s where I’m focusing! Anyway good luck to anyone who has exams :).
That interview mustn’t have gone that badly - a medical school have given me a conditional offer -AAA. I can’t describe how sweet this moment is. After the tribulations of the last year and a half, to see I have an offer - at one of the best universities in the world - is absolutely amazing. I have a place for medicine, I just need to get the grades, and then I could realise my dream - to be a doctor. Wow, just wow.
AAB at Newcastle for Biomedical Science with Medical Microbiology, I am very happy, someone wants me :). At the time last year when i had no choice but Biomedical Science this was my first choice.
